Jason Mueller is joining &AI’s Advisory Board. Jason is a partner in Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP’s intellectual property group and co-chair of the firm’s trademark and copyright teams. He serves as a lead trial lawyer for clients involved in patent, copyright, branding, and corporate confidential information cases, including trade secret and technology matters.

For two decades, Jason has counseled clients on a wide range of intellectual property matters, including federal court litigation, appellate litigation, international protection and enforcement, and proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as a registered patent attorney. In private practice, he has served as lead trial counsel in jury trials in the Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of Texas, as well as in California, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, New York, and Colorado, and before international tribunals and arbitration panels. He has represented clients in industries including entertainment, energy, healthcare, and building products.

Jason received his J.D. cum laude from SMU Dedman School of Law and his B.S. in biology and chemistry from Ouachita Baptist University. Before attending law school, he spent eight years serving in the U.S. Army National Guard.

His work has been recognized nationally. In January 2025, Vorys announced that Jason was named one of the Top 50 patent litigation attorneys in the United States by Patexia’s Patent Litigation 2025 Intelligence Report.

In addition to his litigation practice, Jason regularly counsels clients on trademark and copyright prosecution, advertising and marketing law, regulatory compliance, and the intellectual property aspects of commercial transactions. That combination of trial experience and strategic advisory work makes him a valuable addition to &AI’s Advisory Board.

“Jason brings exactly the kind of practitioner perspective we want on &AI’s Advisory Board. He has spent two decades handling high-stakes intellectual property matters across major venues, and he understands where legal teams need software to be accurate, efficient, and trustworthy. His judgment will make our product better.”Caleb Harris, CEO of &AI
“AI is transforming the legal profession, and I believe it will be a catalyst for positive change. As lawyers, we’ll be able to focus more on solving complex problems and developing effective strategies for our clients. I’m excited to help shape the future of IP law and support innovation in a world powered by technology.”Jason Mueller, Partner at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease

We built &AI’s Advisory Board to keep practitioner needs at the center of everything we build. Jason’s addition strengthens that mission.
